These Chromebooks will be used in a resource specialist classroom (RSP). They will be used for the purpose of providing students with writing difficulties an alternative to handwriting in the classroom. Using assistive technology such as Chromebooks can also help students with organizational difficulties stay organized by reducing the need for physical materials. Another benefit is the ability to use Chromebooks to make individual changes to students’ assignments in a discrete way. I hope that regular access to a computer will help these students learn to use the tools that will help them cope with their learning differences as well as prepare them for the future.
