Practicing fine motor skills is a must for Kindergarten and first-grade students. Most students are lacking in this area due to recent disruptions due to Covid. We must provide activities to build their hand and arm strength, hand-eye coordination, and overall self-confidence. By donating to this project you will give most of my students a "first-time experience" and that is truly unique. Most of my students have not handled real-life tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and drills. This project will provide a way to give my students the hands-on experience they need to build their fine motor skills that will last them a lifetime while having fun and building their self-confidence. When they get home, students take the projects they have made and continue to interact and play with them all while explaining to their families what they made with pride.
