Students will become a life long readers by exposing to varieties of authentic materials. They will read books and write reflections in their daily journal. Meanwhile, students will learn Chinese language and culture by reading the authentic Chinese Classical novels and comic books. They can discuss the stories and legends that they read with their parents at home and they can also use what they read to create their own fiction writing in Chinese. Learning language does not mean to learn the language itself, but to learn the culture. I hope they can have insightful understanding of Chinese language by reading authentic materials.

About my class
