Students will read an engaging novel on their grade level that will provoke them to find a love for books with enticing characters and an understanding of literature. Many students say they don't like to read. I want to hear them say this was an awesome book and I enjoyed reading it! Since this book is in a series, my hope is they would want to read more. I also am interested in this as something new and different in my classroom library. We have been reading many of the same novels for some time, so changing things up is always fun!
