An easel will take literacy to the next level by providing students an interactive tool that is eye level. Students can use this tool with me as a teacher directed activity to work with letters, build words, write sentences, it can be used as an autonomous resource. This can even be turned into a center for students creative work. The possibilities are endless. The comfortable seating and the rug that I have requested will be used to create a comfortable learning environment for my students. Each item that I have requested will benefit the Title I students that I serve by creating a comfortable, safe, close knit community of friendship and learning.
