I want to use these materials to help my kiddos with their fine motor, social emotional, and gross motor skills. Every student is different and their needs are different, too! After discussing sounds of each letter, I would be use magnetic letters in a lesson where students learned the recognition of their name. They would take the magnetic letters to recreate their name. It is important to enjoy learning and being at school! Sensory toys allow this. Using them as reinforcers help establish a routine for students to want to learn while managing stressors.
