By donating to our project, you will be helping create a more diversified classroom library for our first grade students. Our students come from many backgrounds and bring with them an abundance of traditions they love to share about. We will use these books during SEL time as well as throughout the school year. These books will assist students to gain further understanding into their friends' cultures as well as gain and understanding in kindness, acceptance, and empathy. We are an SEL driven school and these books will assist the students in gaining those necessary skills to become helpful and respectful to their peers, their teachers, their families, and their communities.
