My students love building relationships with one another, as do I. I want students to walk into our classroom and feel as they are in their second home. We spend all day together and I want everyone to feel safe in our environment. These materials will be used to help learning and build relationships. Many of the materials will allow students to connect with each other emotionally by reading "The Color of Us.” Community allows students to feel a sense of belonging which is important because not every child has that in their homes. My goal is to help every student learn but more importantly, have love every day.

About my class
