I am taking over a Journalism program that has been an elective class for years, but as a former professional in the field I want to make it more! I want students in 6, 7, and 8th grades to become passionate about something that could potentially be a career for them one day too! I want my students to SEE life through differing lenses...the ones from a camera! With this equipment we will be able to not only take some great photographs for the yearbook but also do recordings for television production. I have over forty students taking these two year-long classes and although I would love to get enough product for everyone to learn and use I am only asking for a fraction of that amount! Please consider my future journalists and their future!

About my class
