With the pandemic, skateboarding has become popular in our community. As an advocate for healthy hobbies and a community advocate, I am looking to foster a sense of self worth through this identity as a skateboarder during our skateboarding PE class. This is a Friday elective class that will count as PE for students at our school. This is a class that we will not only discover our own greatness and identity as skateboarders, but also explore how we can impact our communities skate culture and get a recycling program for old boards to get youth who are interested to dive into the sport.

About my class
