After a hectic, stressful year of hybrid and distance learning, I'd love to make our classroom cozy and welcoming. Not only are my students transitioning into middle school this year, but they are also transitioning back into a full week of in-person learning. This will be the first year we use flexible seating, which includes low tables, standing desks, sitting or laying on the floor with a clipboard, and a variety of chairs students can choose from based on what suits them best. These carpets will add to the cozy feel of flexible seating and make our floor seating option more welcoming and comfy. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them and creating a positive classroom environment.
