These items will help expand what I can do with my students in my physical education class. Some items will also be visual tools to help my students understand what their heart rate means and different exercises they can do to get their heart rates in different zones. There are items that will replace some of our old, worn-down equipment such as volleyballs, beanbags, and rubber bases. These items will be useful to me as their teacher to create lesson plans that are age-appropriate, meaningful, engaging, and fun. My students deserve to have a quality physical education program that helps them prioritize a healthy lifestyle. I am hoping that with these items, I can create a positive mindset around being active and eating healthy!
