The students I teach come from a community of parents who work long hours. Many families have been affected by the pandemic. Providing school supplies and a safe learning environment will not only support my student's learning, but also ease their parent's stress as the need to shop for school supplies for multiple students can be overwhelming. The additional items will allow students to feel welcomed and safe. Some items will help declutter the classroom and allow as much social distancing possible. In addition some of these items will be used for differentiated seating.
