These books will be added to our classroom library. In our curriculum we have a block for social emotional learning where I will work with my students to bring community into the classroom. Adding new books to our classroom library will bring our class together every day for a read aloud. Also, adding diversity books to our library will give my students an opportunity to acknowledge the beauty and unity in diversity. We will get to learn about other people and different cultures through these book and celebrate that we are all uniquely different.
