With COVID restrictions my students can not safely gather on a carpet together for Morning Meeting or Whole Group Lessons because of social distancing requirements. Sitting together helps build community and relationships. Without this opportunity my students will be in their chairs or sitting on the hard floor which is not conducive to a warm and friendly environment. Individual carpet squares will give us the opportunity to sit and learn together with a safe distance between us. Relationships matter and lead to meaningful kindergarten experience. I would love the opportunity to provide this for my students.
