The materials and resources will help students at home. They will have the opportunity to see what is out there in their learning of science. All of my students can use or at least see what the resources can do as they live in a rural area. These opportunities are far in between their reach. They can become explorers of science inside and outside the classroom. They will also have the opportunity to show their parents and siblings what they are learning and use oral language to express themselves as it is a skill they need to learn and practice for the real world.
