These materials will supply them with the basics to set up an effective learning environment. As special ed kiddos, they need extra fidget toys when they need a break. They need basic school materials. They need a few fun math games for math class. Working in a charter school, basic supplies like folders, pencils, etc. are not funded. Low income families struggle to provide those basic materials to their students. These basic supplies will go a long way in providing students ease of mind that they will have what they need and only worry about what they need to learn, not what they don't have.
