By getting a 3D printer, my students will be able to learn about engineering concepts such as how geometry can be used to make structures stronger and why. They can then take these skills and apply them in a path that leads them into a STEAM career. Learning how to engineer, let alone in comfort, is important for every young, curious mind. This is why I wish to incorporate more flexible seating into my classroom through the use of pillows that can be placed anywhere. Different students learn best in different places in the classroom, and I want to provide this opportunity so every students can reach their potential.

About my class
