I am requesting resources to support my students' phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading fluency and comprehension, and their understanding of multiplication. The students are currently fifth grade students however, they are reading on a kindergarten level. These materials will help them build the phonemic foundations needed to become fluent readers. These materials will also help them in all academic areas once they are able to read fluently. In addition, these materials will make practice and learning fun and not place much emphasis on the skills they are lacking. Lastly, these materials will be used in centers so students will have the opportunity to work on different foundational skills as opposed to only focusing on one.
