Our site has been hosting “FUN FRIDAY” every Friday of the week. We celebrate our students hard work throughout the week through playing music, enjoying special treats, connecting with their peers, and playing games together during recess. After spending a year and a half at home during the pandemic, the games provided will refine and reinforce their social skills with their peers. This will encourage appropriate peer interactions and friendships which will help them feel connected to school again. Students learn best when they have a connection to their school. The culture and climate of our school has been positively impacted by our Fun Friday's. We’d be so grateful to provide large games for them to enjoy during recess on Fun Friday’s to acknowledge all of their hard work while at the same time rebuilding their social skills after a year and a half of zoom learning.
