My students and I want to transform our classroom into a more inviting, calming and relaxed environment! By taking away from the sterile standard classroom, our students can feel more relaxed and at ease in their learning environment that promotes their needs socially and emotionally. Over the last year and a half, our students have not been able to socialize in person, in the classrooms with their peers and teachers. So many important social skills have been lost or not learned to date. My goal for our class is to promote these fundamental skills each and every day in a safe, friendly, welcoming environment that will enable our kids to be successful, life-long learners. When students can let their guard down and enjoy the classroom they are in, their confidence shines bright, and that is when maximum levels of learning can be achieved. We appreciate any and all support in helping us achieve our goals.
