Analytical Algebra 2 is a new course in the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation. The course focuses on gathering and statistical analysis of data throughout each unit. Our students had access to the TI-83 graphing calculator during the 2020-2021 school year through a Chromebook extension. Apparently, Texas Instruments only offered that last year because of the COVID-19 epidemic. We realized this during our first week of school as we tried to use the extension in class. I contacted our tech support and was informed that it was only temporary. These students are in dire need of this technology to support their learning as they are in this course because they struggle with traditional algebra concepts, like graphing equations by hand. Any and all contributions will be greatly appreciated by both myself and the students in this course.
