As a first-year teacher, I want to create a safe space for students that promotes academic excellence and scientific exploration. My goal is to decorate my classroom and incorporate a meditation station that allows the student to decompress for a moment of relief and rejoins the lesson with clear headspace. The decorations would vary from inspirational to educational displays, and necessary furniture for the space Help me provide my students with a space that is inviting, beautiful and highlights academic excellence from the moment they step foot in. In my classroom, we are a community. An inviting space creates the drive to want to learn and put forth a great effort. If you can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!
