The materials in this list are things my students will need throughout the year. You will notice that some of the items are not necessarily considered "bare minimum", however, I believe that creating a welcoming environment where my students can learn and feel welcome is part of it. By helping me add to our classroom library as well as provide my students with the supplies listed, you will be sprinkling excitement to my student's upcoming school year. The journals, pens, highlighters, notecards, sticky notes, and books for our daily writing and reading activities which will allow my students to develop real world life skills such as making connections, scrutinizing, discussing and analyzing different texts sets. All other materials I will need for them have been purchased with my life savings and amazing family member contributions. I know this is asking for a lot, but any contribution you can make will not be disregarded. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little about my cause!
