This past year has been one emotional roller coaster for the world! This year I want to focus on the Social and Emotional Well-being of my students as they return to learn. Some of my students were in person last year and some of them were online. All of my students are planning on returning to in-person learning this year. I have plans to create a safe space in my room where my students can go when they are feeling anxious, nervous, or just need to feel safe and loved. I will provide a comfortable area that will house the bean bags, a variety of sensory toys, books, whiteboards for doodling, and posters with calming tips to help them overcome the distress that they might be struggling with. By donating to my project, you will help to provide a loving, safe, and calming environment that will increase the social and emotional well-being of my students.
