For as long as I can remember, I have appreciated the great outdoors. As a first grader moving from the city to the suburbs, my parents soothed my anxious heart by letting me know that I would be able to walk over a creek bridge to get to school. I thoroughly enjoyed my numerous glimpses of wildlife as I traveled back and forth to school in all types of weather. By donating to our project, you will be helping to foster an enjoyable and peaceful learning environment for students that have had a challenging time as their world has experienced the life-changing impacts of COVID 19. The outdoors brings me great joy. If I am excited about coming into our "outdoor" classroom every day, I believe the students will be excited to come to class as well. Happy Campers are Happy Learners!
