The lego set, part of our toys and games area, is a hidden gem -- students can develop fine motor skills, language, social emotional learning, and more. Sharing a lego set with classmates can also help develop key team building skills. Students will have to work together to create successful structures. Last year, COVID rules stated that we were not allowed to have any soft furnishings in our classroom. I can't wait for my love bugs to sit on a cozy rug again! I am hopeful for a new, clean round rug where we can gather for morning meetings, story times, and shares. These materials will be stored in the classroom but utilized each and every day.
