My students tend to come from disadvantaged households. We are a public school in inner-city Indianapolis. We are trying to give them opportunities that do not rely on cell phones to take nice photos, considering principles of design. We can use these projects for college prep skills, leading to several career paths. I hope to have a couple nice cameras that I can offer so that we can practice and utilize these skills in the classroom.
