These materials are needed in a statistics classroom to help students build their own charts and graphs on their own small whiteboards in a face-to-face classroom. Students will use markers to draw plots on their whiteboards. Students analyze and discuss in their groups. Another activity is to use colored pencils, highlighters, scissors to construct mathematical models to understand math concepts in AP classrooms. These materials can be used at home if the student doesn’t have any supplies at their home or can not afford them. I usually pack these supplies and prepare a small lesson kit to supply students’ homes if they are quarantined and want to learn these lessons. The outcome of these lessons is for students to understand the concepts thoroughly, by plotting graphs they can understand the relationships between two variables and predict by extrapolating them. Students will construct mathematical models to apply relationships to real-life problems.
