Floor Hockey is a great game that my high school students really enjoy. It takes a lot of equipment however to do this unit in a PE class of 45 to 50 students. I want to ensure that we have enough hockey sticks for every student in class to have their own so they do not have to share. That allows me to get everyone involved so we have maximum participation at all times. The nets are great for the games to give the kids a clear target instead of shooting between cones for a goal. It makes the drills and games more fun for the kids to have the real game equipment for a sport they otherwise have had very little experience with here in California.
