Currently, my students have no way to come together at the beginning of the day to begin our message of the day and morning meetings. This carpet would serve as a meeting place to start our day, set our social, emotional goals, and act as a learning center for students learning their alphabets. Our school has hardwood floors, and it causes our classroom to echo. This beautiful carpet would create a quiet-warm learning environment and an atmosphere of togetherness. After the pandemic and a year away from school, my students need this.
