Close your eyes and imagine snuggling up to a good book. Now, open them. Where are you? Are you comfortable? In my classroom, we want to instill lifelong learners who enjoy reading not just to learn, but for enjoyment. What better way to do that than on some comfy bean bags or pulling up a soft pillow to cozy up with a good leveled reader. This donor request will create 30 future lovers of reading and global citizens. As a bilingual teacher, one of my major obstacles is not only to make sure that my library is comfortable but well stocked with English and Spanish books at my students reading levels.
