My students enjoy creating with clay that is fired & glazed. They are so excited when they see the differences in their 1st finished piece to the 2nd, 3rd and the final glazed piece. There is a need for clay tools for the students to use. The cones are for when the pieces are fired in the kiln to make sure that it reaches the correct temperature. Art is so important to some of our students, especially to those who may struggle in the classroom. Many students use the paint brushes over the years, so after a while there is a need for new ones. At this point, we are in need of new brushes. I am also asking for the Treasure Box of Wood. About 5 years ago, my students created Oaxacan Animals. They were fantastic. I have not been able to do this project again because I have not been able to order the wood pieces again. I am so thankful to anyone who can help with fun these projects.
