My first grade friends just need basic supplies to help them learn both at school and at home. These little learners don’t need many high-tech school supplies, but the ones they do need are essential to their learning. In fact, as this is the first time they will encounter having to take care of their own personal desk (they have used tables in kindergarten and 4K), the less things they have, the better! The poly folders are awesome as they will withstand the wear and tear of being kept in the turmoil of a first grader’s desk - no ripping, and they last the ENTIRE YEAR! Ticonderoga pencils are THE BEST pencils as the lead is extremely sturdy, and they stay sharpened for a long time. Dry erase markers are an essential part of our phonics, math, and reading curriculum as we utilize marker boards multiple times EVERYDAY. As for the crayons, markers, and glue sticks, these guys LOVE TO CREATE!
