This year, students have learned to take power points, add voice and links, and then turn them into movies. The next step will include improving their weekly announcement projects shared with the school to include recording school events, using Apple Movies to create and inputting news video recorded and created on the iPad. They will use the iPad to record games, concerts, classes, weather, and many more events weekly on an iPad and then use the device to create, edit and post to the entire school. The students will have the opportunity to develop their own stories from beginning to end digitally and share them with students, teachers, and the community. This project will give students the ability to write for an audience using ELA skills, speak and listen to others, develop timelines, and edit and submit projects with deadlines.
