The materials I am requesting will allow my students to not only build confidence, but ability, too! Whisper phones are excellent tools that allow students to read aloud to themselves for fluency and accuracy, without being a distraction to the rest of the class. Writing journals for readers will allow them to blend reading and writing, showing the importance of the relationship between the two. Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to choose high interest, leveled printable books and writing activities at any given moment. Organization is also key! The pencil cases will be used to store such items safely, whisper phones, as well as other helpful reading manipulatives.
