The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them the opportunity to practice and regulate self-calming strategies. These will serve as their calming area reinforcers whenever meltdowns happen. These will make it easier for them to go to their specials as they already have sensory kits whenever they face external triggers such as noise and change in their routines. 1.PK.2 Use a variety of approaches to solving interpersonal problems in the classroom. 6.PK.1 Use visual arts as a means to express their feelings, thoughts, knowledge and skills in content areas such as language arts, science, and math.
