Do you know the amount of language that can be modeled, learned, and built upon through literacy? Studies have proven time and time again that reading is one of the best ways to build vocabulary for students. Exposure to books models good sentence structure, word choice, grammar targets, and much, much more. In my speech room, many of my students have difficulty with these basic language tasks. Helping me to fund this project will allow me to use these books over and over again, showing them how to build language skills. There are also many wordless picture books. These are amazing for having students practice these skills and write their own stories! Will you help me fund these books for my students?
