As an AUSL graduate, I will be working in the Austin neighborhood and want my students second home to be one where they feel welcomed by the décor and their learning styles are met. The laminator, card stock, paper roll will help with bulletin board décor. The colored expo markers will help with highlighting vocabulary and differentiation. As a first year math and science teacher I want to be sure my students have the basics covered such as pencils, erasers, pens, and glue so that they can continue feeling proud of their work. The playdough will contribute to mindfulness activities for a calm environment. I want my students to feel comfortable and safe in their learning environment and these materials will contribute towards providing a calm, focused, and engaged learning environment for my 4th graders.
