Students come from many different living situations and some will be experiencing the physical classroom for the first time ever. Because of the pandemic, we need to find safe ways for students to experience in-person learning and still have the ability to have fun and be given the freedom to create. With this carpet, students will have an easier time knowing their safe space and still be able to move, learn and experience a musical education in a safe way. Students will be able to dance, create movement to music, explore the physical responses to music and express their feelings through this movement. Without the safe space, students' health could be put at Jeopardy and could mean the end to a physical musical education in our school.

About my class
