My students deserve the best there is, and as a first year teacher I want be absolutely prepared to provide everything they need. This project will help me to provide essential supplies needed for my classroom. I am requesting resources like glue sticks, paper, journals, colored pencils, markers, and a pencil sharpener which will be used every day to foster creativity. A community calendar will be used to keep track of birthdays and other important date in my students lives. The graphic novel adaptation of "Fahrenheit 451" will be used to differentiate and assist the students who may be struggling readers in my class during our first unit.
