We have a diverse group of 2nd graders that greatly benefit from the opportunity of movement in the classroom. We also offer flexible seating which we also need the rug for. This rug would be a great addition to our classroom for responsive classroom discussions that we incorporate into our daily lessons. This rug would give us the opportunity to move out of the seats and have group discussions in a comfortable and less structured manner. Sitting in informal circles like this allows the students to feel more comfortable and always makes them more engaged!

About my class
