This coming school year my students will be able to read current non-fiction material that aligns with our state standards. This will allow my students to work on their reading skills, vocabulary skills and comprehension skills. This also will be a great resource for each student to take home and share with their families. The students will also write about what they learn from the magazines in their writing and science journals to connect reading and writing. This will help my students to improve their writing skills on non-fiction topics.
