I cannot wait to get the students back into my counseling space to meet kids where they are at! And, in my case, this is often on the floor where they can wiggle and feel safe and grounded. I imagine them feeling cozy so that we can do the work of unpacking our feelings and learning strategies to cope with the big stuff. As they sit on the rug in their new Lakeshore floor seats, they can have their own set of scented markers and play-doh handy in each of their lap desks, to complete art therapy activities!

About my class
