All of the materials chosen will help my students succeed. Pens are a necessity for our Writers Workshop time. Students learn to write in black ink and to edit in red. Students use tape to piece their writing together after editing. I have also asked for many items that will improve our classroom environment. The classroom environment is essential for student success. When a teacher provides a warm and welcoming classroom, students feel comfortable. Students spend most of their day in a classroom. Therefore, our classrooms need to be appealing and welcoming for our kiddos. For this reason, I have asked for Peanuts/Snoopy-themed classroom decor, bulletin board decor, and a few supplies that will enhance our classroom for the students. Students should feel pride when entering and working in their classroom. Please help me provide this for our students.
