The carpet will help bring students together in a central learning area. This space will give them a soft place to sit during group learning as well as during independent reading time. The bookshelf will help bring organization into the classroom so that the students are able to find a place to set their book bins between reading times. Having an organized, welcoming and cozy environment will help to create a thriving learning space for my students. When students feel comfortable within their space learning is more likely to happen naturally!
