The possibilities are truly endless with a 3D printer, not just for our science classroom but for the school campus as a whole. I am striving to expand how the students think about science. Science is what brings innovation and new tech/medicine/commercial products. With the 3D printer, I will be able to talk to them about how it works and how it can be used. Not only will a 3D printer give me, their teacher, a better way to visually demonstrate complex models, but it will also give the students another medium to learn and master for the future. I am excited to get this wonderful tool in the hands of our students and then let them take the reigns and come to me with ideas on how we can showcase our ideas to the world using this printer.

About my class
