These materials will be used to promote literacy by providing books that are culturally relevant to the students. It will also incorporate the use of art in a cross-categorical way to inspire students to learn. This project will also provide a carpet for a reading nook and provide manipulatives and materials that support a universal learning style for students with special needs in a low socio-economical area. My school services students who are often overlooked and bypassed because of their differences and your contribution will promote equity in our learning environment.

About my class
