Many of these students suffered from the time away from the school building this last year. Many have missed having the structure, and many are not completely accustomed to being at the school. My students have not been in a school building for a full year yet. There first year was cut short, and their second year was mostly virtual. I would love for them to be able to socially distance in my classroom while they do their work, while still being able to be cozy and having some of the comforts of home. This project includes some of the basic school supplies on our school list that many students families are not able to afford, as well as comfortable and fun places to sit and things to help them stay focused on their tasks in their new learning environment.
