Students enjoy having a variety of seating options in the classroom. This rug will provide an additional place for the students to spread out and complete their work, on a cleaner and more engaging surface, as my current classroom carpet is quite old and stained. The classroom will be infused with a calming sense of the outdoors, from this nature inspired rug. Many classrooms have large rainbow rugs, which are cute and cheery. This leafy rug, however, has a unique look and appeal, which will hopefully foster a sense of new beginnings and curiosity within the classroom environment. Life changed during the pandemic, though hope and newness remain. This rug will be symbolic of both of those notions.
